Let me fill you in on a little secret if you didn’t know it already. Black Friday starts NOW. I was doing a little early Christmas shopping last night at the outlets near my house. When I was in J. Crew Factory I heard one of the employees talking to some other shoppers. He said, “I don’t know why people come shop with us on Black Friday. They can get the same deals the week ahead and actually have sizes to choose from because on Black Friday the store has already been picked over .”
Next store, Eddie Bauer Factory. I was looking for some gifts for some male family members. The employee leaned over to me and said, “If you happen to live in the area, and you hypothetically came in tomorrow, the entire store would be 40% off which is the lowest it will be all year.”
Moral of the story? Do not wait until Black Friday to shop the sales! And you know what that also means? You don’t have to fight the crowds and lose that lovely peaceful feeling you had while eating a delicious dinner with your family at home. You get more of a selection AND you have less stress AND you get the same deals by the time Black Friday even rolls around!
I know there will be some great deals, especially online, that are coming on Black Friday as well but as far as retail goes, stick with me and shop it early. I will also be doing some of the legwork for you and finding the best and most notable sales to share with you too, of course, so make sure you check back every day next week for some good ones!
