Happy Tuesday! Today I thought I would do a roundup of the BEST beauty buys of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Like I’ve said before, now is the time is buy your bigger purchases because you can get really deep savings. It’s not just saving a few dollars, it’s saving quite a bit more than that on these items and so if you’ve been saving up for some great beauty buys, NOW is the time to get them. That’s why I think buying denim, buying boots and beauty products at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great idea.
Okay, first thing. GET THE PMD Personal Microderm Device!! It smooths out your skin and makes it feel so soft. It gets rid of your dead skin cells weekly to prevent aging and to help your beauty products work better. Your makeup goes on smoother, and the expensive anti-aging lotion that you buy will actually work because you won’t have a dead layer of skin cells blocking it from working. This is one of my absolute favorite beauty investments ever, and it’s on sale right now for $106.53, regularly $159. You need to replace the disks about every 6-8 times using it. They say to change it out less but I don’t think it’s necessary because you can see when it’s getting worn down so you can make it last longer. It’s also MUCH less expensive than going to get treatments done so you will save money.
This next one is another favorite that I use EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. And how cute is the floral print? I wish mine looked like that. If you don’t like floral print, however, they have lots of other colors to choose from as well. The Clarisonic gets your skin 6X cleaner than manual washing of your face which will in turn prevent aging and again, help your products work. I bought mine at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last year and I absolutely love it. It has a timer so you know how long to wash each part of your face (1 minute total each night). I can’t say enough good things about it! It’s on sale right now for $119.20, normally $149. They also have a men’s color if your man wants to join in on the fresh face nightly routine with you 🙂
THESE Voluspa candles were on sale last year and I bought a couple boxes and wish I would have even bought more because they are the BEST gift to have on hand! I keep them in my gift closet. Why do I love them and why are they the best to buy right now? A. They are really pretty and high quality. I use them for decoration around my house on bookshelves and tables! B. I’ve seen them sold in stores/boutiques for $25 each (these are on sale for $9.83 each!!) and C. It’s SO convenient to have them on hand when I need a nice gift for someone and don’t have time to brainstorm and run to the store. I LOVE THEM. Have I convinced you yet? They are on sale for $29.50 each, and go back up to $40 after the sale which ends on August 2nd. There are two version – this one and this one and they come in mini size here too for $15.90!.
If you are looking for a new fragrance, THIS IS IT!! Kate Spade sent me a rollerball bottle when it first came out and it is hands down my new favorite scent. I absolutely LOVE it. This Walk on Air by Kate Spade set is only $75 during the sale and goes up to $95 afterward. I LOVE keeping the rollerball in my purse for a little freshen up on the go.
I have always loved Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue and this set is $95 during the #nsale, regularly $137. It’s a light, classic fragrance.
I have never tried the BeautyBlender but I hear rave reviews about them EVERYWHERE. I guess they make applying your makeup very easy and puts your makeup on really smoothly. I think I’m going to get some and I’ll let you know what I think! They are on sale for $37 right now and it’s a $56 value.
And last but not least, this Stila lip gloss in the prettiest colors! I LOVE Stila lip gloss because it’s super shiny and lasts for a really long time. This set of 6 is only $25 and is an $82.50 value! Here’s an idea…get this lip gloss and a couple packs of the Voluspa candles and you’ll have PERFECT little gift sets ready for birthdays, Christmas…you name it!! That would make the candle and lipgloss combo only $14 for a REALLY great gift that will go up to $27 per gift set after the sale. YAY!! You know what my friends are getting for their birthdays 🙂

Do you use your Clarisonic on the same day you use your PMD?
Ashley – yes, I do! They are both really easy on your skin so you shouldn't have a problem using both of them. If your skin is really sensitive, they both have sensitive options for the brush head and disk.
