I wanted to freshen up my entryway, so I browsed and browsed through Minted’s Wall Art selection. When I found the bright pop of color I was looking for in this print, I then needed to decide what size to order.
I cut string into the length of each size I wanted to test, and then I taped it onto my wall so I could get a good idea of how it would look. When doing this, make sure you take into account the size of frame that you plan to put up as well. The 11″ x 14″ prints seemed to be perfect for the space, so I placed my order! I ordered the prints with a brushed silver frame. The great thing about Minted, however, is that you can order just the prints if you want to pick out your own frames elsewhere or you already have frames. I liked ordering the frames with the prints because they came completely assembled, packed really carefully, and I got to hang them up the second they arrived and I ripped open the box 🙂 You think I’m kidding. It made my day when they came!

That’s a cool idea to use string to measure out the size of the painting you want to get. I feel like that would be a great way to see exactly how much space it will take up. Next time I buy some artwork, I’ll make sure to do that so I can know it will fit the space correctly.
