It’s no secret that I love Costco; the babies and I visit Costco typically once a week to restock on our favorites. We might only technically need to go once every couple of weeks but we need to get out of the house, and in the winter, our options our pretty limited. Costco it is! Goldie loves to say “Costco” and I don’t know why, but it’s my favorite thing that she says. Her little tiny baby voice saying, “Cos-co” kills me. It’s the little things, people.
Since we go to Costco so much, I wanted to show you our favorite Costco staples that we get a lot. You can find items that are a lot less expensive when you buy them in bulk, and then they have sales where I stock up and keep items under my guest bathroom sinks so I can easily replenish the items that I just used up. Here goes! If you have suggestions on items that you love at Costco, let me know. Thanks, friends!
OUR COSTCO STAPLES
I love these Neutrogena makeup wipes. I wash my face using my Clarisonic and this face wash then use these wipes to get off all of my eye makeup. I have used other brands and nothing else gets off all of my eye makeup as easily.
This is good, natural maple syrup to use on pancakes, waffles, or even in recipes that call for maple syrup like protein balls.
I SWEAR by Airborne. It completes me. Like, seriously. If you take it when you are around people that are sick or when you are just getting a cold, it helps A TON. It’s a boost to your immune system, and the tabs taste like candy so that’s a plus. I like to stock up when they are on sale because they are kind of pricey.
My kids LOVE this Annie’s Mac and Cheese. The only problem with it is that so do I, so I have to really hold back when I make it for them. I always have at least 2 bites but I actually want to eat 2 whole boxes so I’d call that a win.
My kids love these bunny snacks (again…so do I. Who is the kid around here, anyway?) and I love that they come in these small individual packets. I put these in my car so that I can access them when my kids start to get restless in the car, which is pretty much any time we are in the car now. Goldie and Harris love their snacks and know exactly what I’m talking about when I say, “do you want a snack?” Their eyes light up. I tear open the side and give them a bag. Sometimes 3/4 of it ends up in their car seat, and sometimes it doesn’t. It’s a gamble. I like to keep things interesting.
Skinny Pop is a HUGE discount at Costco, you get your money’s worth when you buy these big bags. Tip: Take it out of the bag and put it into a bowl when you are eating it as a snack because Skinny Pop can become Fat Pop realllll quick-like since it’s hard to tell how much you are eating with this giant bag. Your waistline will thank me.
Tampons. Enough said. I love this brand and I keep a couple boxes stocked up when Aunt Flo comes to visit. She’s never welcome, but I like to be prepared for her anyway.
I have worn contacts since I was in middle school, and this is my favorite contact solution. You have to let your lenses soak for at least 6 hours I believe, or the solution will burn the h*^l out of your eyes. It cleans your lenses really, really well though and my eyes always feel nice and fresh.
Costco’s best kept secret. This is the ONLY cold and flu medicine that I will take because it doesn’t leave me with weird side effects like being dizzy or wanting to fall asleep at the wheel. I LOVE it.
This is another item that both the twins and I fight over all love. They are little applesauce packets so they are perfect for on the go (I keep a few in my diaper bag for hangry emergencies), and I also love to eat them on my way to the gym or when I’m starving and I want to eat a giant chocolate cake but don’t have time to make one, so I turn to this for a slightly healthier snack.
Same as above, these organic fruit blends are tasty and healthy.
My sisters and I literally love Parmesan cheese more than we love each other (KIDDING), but we seriously love it a lot. Like, we used to just dump it on our plates after we ate our spaghetti and would eat it plain. I still love it, and I at least try to hide it from Tyler when I still do that. Kidding. Sort of. You’ll never know. I use this for my parmesan garlic rolls that I make (recipe coming soon…sooooo easy) and speaking of that, I like to buy the Rhoade’s frozen rolls here too because they are a lot less expensive than the grocery store.
Say hello to your new best friend that cooks in the microwave for 90 seconds and then smiles at you like you just slaved in the kitchen all day for dinner. You’ll love this rice and quinoa mix. You can serve it with so many meals, but my favorite is a rice bowl where I add rotisserie chicken, black beans, avocado, tomatoes and salsa. You can really just toss in anything and it will taste good.
If you haven’t discovered buying flowers at Costco, say hello to the least expensive and most high quality flower combo of your life. They last for a LONG time, are so pretty, and I think 2 dozen roses is $16.99. I like to stop and smell them even if I don’t buy them because I like to get strange looks from strangers.
These organic cheddar ducks are pretty much Goldies’ favorite thing of ALL TIME. Like, if you want to make that little girl’s life light up like the the 4th of July, you will give her these ducks. Again, I love that they are in little packets so they are easy to throw in my bag and keep in my car.
Tyler and I both grew up eating graham crackers and milk as a snack after school literally every single day, and I could still eat that for at least two of my three meals each day. I don’t, because I have to be a grown up and eat balanced meals, but I think that will be breakfast, lunch and dinner in heaven because I like to keep things classy.
THIS HONEY!! I didn’t know honey until I had this honey. I didn’t really love honey until I had this honey. Oh, honey. I love you. But seriously, it is so flavorful and I love to drizzle it over sliced apples.
I love this all natural almond butter. Keep it in the fridge and mix it with the honey above for a really tasty snack dip for fruit.
Tyler and I love Kodiak Cakes, and so do the twins. It’s one of the things that they eat a lot of and I feel good about it because they have so much protein and good whole grains.
Costco has really great fruit! Harris and Goldie like strawberries best.
I always buy a rotisserie chicken because the price is so good and they taste really, really good. You can make salads, soups, tacos, rice bowls…you name it.
I love these G2G protein bars. All natural and taste really great.
These chicken salad containers are perfect for snacking. 140 calories and made with Greek yogurt instead of mayo. LOVE this on sandwiches too and I love that they come in the perfect individual size.
These little individual guacamole containers make you feel like you are on a beach in Cancun. And then you look at your messy kitchen and remember that you aren’t. Nope.
My favorite triple berry blend to put in my green smoothies. They taste so good and are so good for you!
Love to buy these Ziploc bags when they are on sale and keep a stock in my pantry.
I used to buy the chicken tender pieces but once they started selling these thin-sliced chicken breasts I was sold. They cook so much more quickly and evenly since they are a much better size.
These chicken teriyaki bowls are a staple for Tyler and I when we don’t have time to cook.
I recently discovered these Shoe Ramen chicken bowls and I LOVE them. They have a lot of sodium but are so good…so I guess that makes up for it? They are really good to have on hadn’t for a lunch or dinner when you don’t have anything else prepared.
These Greek yogurt cups are really sweet and delicious, and I love that they are only 80 calories. They satisfy my sweet tooth when I’m trying to be healthy 🙂
If you haven’t had these tortillas that are nice and rolled out for you, but that you cook yourself on the stone for the first time, you are in for a treat. YUMMO.
We always buy these Carter’s blanket sleepers for Harris and Goldie to sleep in. They are such a good deal here and I only buy the ones that zip and NOT button. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
I also like to buy soap at Costco (stock up when it’s on sale), paper towels, toilet paper, spinach, bottled water and organic eggs. Tell me your favorites!

I love this post. I’ve never been to a Costco before and the city I live in is getting one this year. And it will be about 3 minutes from my office. I CANNOT WAIT!

oh my goodness I love Costco, but.. you must try daily contacts. Ditch that solution, you will thank me for it, I promise. (I wear dailies acquacomfort plus- and I still buy them at Costco :))

Ha ha ha ha I have to be careful with that stuff!

This post is the best! Not just because Costco is amazing but because your commentary! Tell it like it is, mama! Love those tortillas. Also love the Aidelle’s chicken meatballs. Pretty sure they’re high in sodium but we throw those on some rice with steamed veggies and dinner is done.

Ha ha ha I’m glad you love it lol! Ooh I will have to try those. Thank you so much for the recommendation!

The sliced chicken breast is such a good idea. Thank you
