When it comes to my skin, I have been very lucky throughout my life because I have never experienced major acne breakouts. Don’t get me wrong, I had the occasional zit here and there that bothered me, but it was never something that covered my entire face and affected me a lot. I managed to avoid them in middle school and high school and I figured since that was the most typical time to get acne, I was in the clear.
Then…I got pregnant. Hello, pregnancy hormones!! My chin and jawline started popping up with zits…and I didn’t like it! Imagine that. When ZAPYT reached out to me, I was definitely willing to try a new product to help get rid of my new-found problem and I want to share with you what I have done to keep my pregnancy acne away!
I used the pore clearing scrub in the shower that evening, then put the pore treatment gel on my nose and the acne treatment gel on my jaw line where most of my acne was after I got out of the shower. The following night, I washed my face with the acne wash using my Clarisonic, then I used the acne treatment gel again. When I woke up the third morning, my acne was significantly less. I’m excited to have found products that work! You can buy ZAPZYT at these retailers.
It’s hard to feel really confident when you have an issue like acne. ZAPZYT is giving away these products to FIVE of my readers!! Entering is SO EASY; simply comment on this post telling me something you feel you can accomplish as you feel confident when you’re not dealing with a problem such as acne. The giveaway will be open through June 30th and the winners will be announced back here on July 1st.

I feel much more confident in my job as a middle school teacher. Confidence reflects as a I teach students who are struggling with their own array of issues, acne and body image included. I can reach out to them at such a critical stage and make a difference. ❤

Sleep more! Once I had my sweet babe, I have developed quite a few spots which has meant a MORE extensive nightly routine than pre-baby and I need more sleep now. Go figure!

Selfies! I struggle with taking pictures of myself because I'm so self conscious of the acne that I've developed during this pregnancy. It's so worth it in the end though! ❤️
Kelsey Eaton says
I would love to try this for my normal pregnancy acne I've been experiencing. So hard when there is hardly anything you can put on it. This would be awesome to try!

After a year of nursing my baby girl I finally got my period again which means hormonal acne. And they are back with a vengeance. Not having acne would help me be more confident running around as a mom of 4.
Katie Spinks says
I would feel more confident to wear less makeup than my morning routine would be a lot faster especially when I have to get 3 babies 3 and under ready

I never had acne either until I was pregnant!! That definitely zaps your confidence. I didn't even have a clue on how to cover it well. To answer the confidence question, I think it would help me talk to more people and not feel the need to hide when I am concerned about my face.
Melissa says
I understand this so well! I have great skin and now that I'm pregnant with another girl, I keep breaking out like I did when pregnant with my first daughter. I would feel more confident to go without makeup on. I love a more natural look, but with my breakouts I need to cover them up.

Just got prego with #2 and all I have to say ablut my skin right now is yikes! ?

I spy a glowing momma! ? I feel better about myself when I see a clear skinned face in the mirror. After a battle with post partum depression I finally realized I simply MUST take care of myself inside and out- even if the only humans seeing/interacting with me most days are my kids and husband. I am taking time now to take care of my whole self which helps equip me to be a better Mom. Lots of love to you sister!!
Kenslee Daughtridge says
I feel that by not being self-conscious about my acne I could take in more at work. Looking better helps me feel better and this would show up in so many parts of my life.

I totally feel your pain! Ever since my last baby my skin has been so so terrible. I've been looking for something new to try and this looks amazing!! When I feel my skin looks great I feel better and more confident in every aspect of my life, especially with looking nice for my job as a nurse.

I've been dealing with stress acne from wedding planning! Without my acne making me feel horrible, I can focus on planning and enjoying my engagement and wedding. I've been trying to get it under control for the last year and only have 4 months left!

Hormonal acne is one of the worst parts of pregnancy for me. I already look large and bloated, then throw acne on top of that! I'd love to try this product.
Stacie says
I would feel more confidence at work as a team leader! Just 7 wks prego and I would love to have this on hand!
Lauren and Josh says
Yes. Acne can definitely take away your confidence! I would love to have this in my bathroom as I am like you…bad acne was never my cross to bear, but I'm in my first trimester and have already experienced a little more break-outage than I'd like. 🙂
Jennifer L says
Like you, I managed to avoid acne in my younger years, but as an adult it's been the complete opposite. I almost always have smething going on around my chin/jawline.. so I feel your pain. It sucks! The funny thing is, my skin actually cleared up when i was pregnant with my now 21 month old daughter. I joke all the time that i want to get pregnant again just for the amazaing skin i had haha! The odd time my skin will clear up for a week here and there I notice that I am just more confident in everything I do. I feel so much more beautiful! I'm getting married in september and I'm terrified of having acne on my wedding day. I would LOVE the oppurtunity to try a product that works as quickly as you say it does. I want to not only look but feel my best on my wedding day! 🙂

This sounds amazing!!

I am 35 and still deal with acne so often!!! I want to be able to walk out of the house without feeling the need to wear makeup and feel confident! I would love a chance to try this product!!

Seriously acne should have left when I was a teen.. But I would just have more confidence at work and just feel better about myself 🙂
Megan Johnson says
Ugh hormones are so real. I hate the way my make up cakes when I have acne. And that dang hormonal acne just likes to stick around! I hate to see what it's like when I am pregnant! Oy! But dealing with patients all day makes being self conscious easy. I would be able to smile more genuine knowing my face is clear!
Ashley Christenson says
Totally going through the pregnancy break out right now and it doesn't make this process super fun when I just want to hid my face. I love to show off my belly (when I get one this round-only 12 weeks for#3 baby) but a clear face for sure helps with the self esteem boost I think everyone needs everyday! Plus I really hate to put make-up on to go swim! totally need this right now, loved the post!
Chaun says
I would looove to try this! I try not to let acne take away my confidence, as annoying as it is. But, there are the occasional days when I feel frumpy and grumpy. If I get zits on those days, I'm offended that they even try! Ha ? Something about clear skill skin definitely adds a little boost of confidence to my day though- especially being preggars myself 🙂
Sra. Scott says
Yes !
I thought I had it bad and I definitely don't feel confident with my face anymore since becoming pregnant. I thought my face would be the only normal thing that would remain after all these changes that my body is having but obviously that is not the case. When I have a good radiant clear skin I feel more beautiful I feel that it compensates for my large body.
Amy Perucca says
My pregnancy and now almost 3 month post pregnancy acne is so bad. I would definitely feel more confident going to the pool this summer if I didn't have to put make up on to cover it all up. No fun and something im extremely self conscious about. Would love to win this and see it work for me and help me be a confident mama
Miriam Leah says
I would feel more confident in general and also would be more comfortable wearing less makeup!

I havent really ever had a problem with acne until I had a miscarriage 3 months ago. Since then I have had acne all over my face and have tried many different products to try to get rid of it and nothing has worked! Going from having a pretty clear face all the time to having lots of acne really has made me self conscious. I really want to have my skin go back to normal so I can have my confidence back!
Audrey ALOTTO says
I feel much more confident at work with a clear beautiful face. Teaching junior high kids with all their "honest" comments isn't easy on a day to day basis!

18 months of breastfeeding and I finally got my period back a few months ago and ever since my acne has been absolutely awful. When I don't have a face full of ance, I'm more confident about not feeling like a need 10 pounds of makeup on and I actually go out more and do things! I'd love to try things products, since so far nothing works!
Calli says
There was a time I could just throw my hair in a ponytail and apply some maskcara and chapstick and feel pretty enough to run my kids to soccer, go to the grocery store or to pool. I hate that I took my makeup bag camping last week because I feel like I have to cover up the hormonal acne. Summertime has always been a time when less was more and I miss that confidence I had.
Chelsea Malone says
Honestly my biggest issue with acne is wearing tank tops and a bathing suit. It's something I just don't feel good about. I would love to try something great to help feel better this summer at the beach with my kiddos and wear tank tops when it's hot. Acne sucks. I hate feeling like a teen all over again!
Chelsea Malone says
Acne sucks! I look forward to enjoying a bathing suit and tank tops in the summer when I don't have to hide my shoulder and back acne! Luckily there is make up to hide the face acne 🙂
Lynette says
I would allow my photo to be taken if I could get my acne under control. My biggest trouble spot is my chin. I hate it! It's weird to have acne issues now, because I didn't during my teen years. My skin always looked the best while I was pregnant!
Estefania Aguilar says
I have spots of hormonal acne here and there since I was on my twenties, now I am 31 and cannot go grocery shopping without wearing at least concealer, blush and mascara.I would love to feel confidence like I was before to go to work withouth any make up on.
Kate says
I need this so bad right now. I'm still in my first trimester but my breakouts are so so bad, it's embarrassing. I feel like a teenager all over again. And something that's safe and effective while pregnant, well that deserves
Ashleigh Hegwood says
Acne is so hard to get rid of it seems! I feel like I constantly have it, and when my face finally clears up it comes back full swing 🙁 it's also hard to find a product that ACTUALLY works!! I'd love to try out the product and gain back the confidence I know I have inside me
Laura Lee says
Ugh. Acne during pregnancy is just kind of cruel. But to know that there is a product out there that works is music to my ears!! To get rid of my acne would help me be more confident as I deal with the life-changing alteration of my own body. I'm pregnant with my fourth, and I'm having a hard time dealing with the way my body is wanting to adjust. I'm getting larger, faster, and it's not just my belly. If I had clearer skin, I would probably better accept the other things. Thanks for this awesome giveaway opportunity, and I hope that all the things continue to go very smoothly (physically and mentally) as your carry and bring life to your sweet babies.

There really was nothing better than being able to wake up, look in the mirror and feel beautiful! I felt like I could take on the world!
It used to be like that for me, but I'm on a crazy amount of hormones right now trying to get my body to make a baby and it is killing my poor skin! I would jump hoops to have a product that helped my constant breakouts! ❤️
(Also you are so dang cute. So excited for you!!)
Lauren Geary: says
I would be able to be more confident in going out to class and clinicals with less makeup because everything is so early that I don't have a whole lot of time and I like my sleep better!!

Kylie says
With clearer skin, I worry less about my appearance and feel more confidant wearing less make up. It's easy for me to feel insecure when I'm dealing with a breakout, especially in a culture that places such an emphasis on beauty and appearance!
Jessica Paredes-Porter says
I would love to feel more confident makeup free! As a mom, I rarely have time to do my makeup anymore and knowing that I wouldn't need to in order to feel pretty would be amazing!
Robyn Meacham says
Acne is the worst! I've struggled with severe acne for about a year, it's even on my back! Ugh. Living in Arizona I don't feel comfortable not wearing makeup at the pool, and I would so love to be more confident for my daughter!
Sherise Smart says
Spending less time trying to cover it up would give me more time with my 2 little boys and getting everything ready for our 3rd boy.

I've loved following your pregnancy journey! You are a beautiful person inside and out, best of luck with the last few weeks!!

Confidence is something that reflects in my face and when I have a breakout, can outshine since I do frequent presentations in front of students and their families (I’m a college admission counselor) as well as meet one on one with students. Knowing that my face is clean and clear would be one less thing to worry and stress about!
