To my Beautiful Child: Some Days Suck

To my beautiful child (written on 10/26),

Today was kind of miserable. Remember how yesterday I said the Lupron shots weren’t too bad yet? Welp…I’ve been nauseous ever since and my whole body aches. One of the side effects is that your joints ache. It was just one of those days and I’m feeling like I’m in for the long haul and a little overwhelmed because if I do get pregnant, there’s a possibility that I’ll feel sick and nauseous for a long time.

At the end of the day I was reduced to tears over the silliest things. Like, I was welling up because my niece was so cute in her little Halloween costume. My ovaries feel like they’re about to pop out of my abdomen, and it’s only the third day of shots.

The bright spot of the day was taking a little ride on the RZR during my lunch break with your aunt Jocelyn and dad up on the mountain above our house, and the fun Halloween party that Grammy and Popsy threw last night at their house. I left early though to go take a hot bath which helped me feel a little better.

Right now I am mainly just feeling annoyed that my house won’t clean itself. What’s up with that? Tomorrow is a new day, right?
