Hey guys! When I find a product I love, you know I have to share it! In high school, I distinctly remember my friend Desiree turning around after putting on her mascara after we were done with drill team and saying, “today is a good eyelash day!” If you’re having a great eyelash day it can totally make up for a bad hair day!
For quite some time (read: years) I have been looking for a great mascara that would lengthen my eyelashes, not smudge and look great. I have tried everything, from Chanel to Maybelline. Nope, I wasn’t born with it, okay? The Chanel mascara made my eyes really blurry and I think must have been allergic to it. The Maybelline The Falsies looked great but it flaked A LOT so I always had black flakes under my eyes. I love the look of eyelash extensions but I just couldn’t get myself to spend $75 every 3 weeks to get them filled plus I didn’t want to make time in my schedule for one more thing. Some people look great with false eyelashes that you glue on, but that wasn’t realistic for every day use because I’m always in a rush to head out the door i the morning. What was a girl to do?
My friend Catherine reached out to me and asked if I wanted to try Younique’s mascara. I was a little skeptical…another mascara? But I trusted her and she sent me a picture of her lashes and they looked great. I decided to give it a go. And…
I LOVE IT! It’s really easy to put on and makes your lashes look so much longer and fuller! You put on the base coat, then brush on the fibers from mid-lash up. The little fibers stick to the base coat and add so much volume and length. You then seal off the fibers with another coat of the base and you are done! It’s so easy. If you want more volume and length you can even put on another coat of the fibers and then seal it again with the top coat. Do you know what this means? Every day is a good eyelash day!!! Good hair days will just be a bonus.
2 important things to mention:
1. The Mascara is 100% natural and hypoallergenic, the fibers are made of green tea fibers and collagen, totally safe for contact wearers
2. Younique products are all natural, organic, cruelty free, gluten free, paraben free, chemical free, carcinogen free, No preservatives, ect, I attached a great picture that has all of that. I think its really appealing to most people because of the all natural ingredients.
