I am so confused today. I don’t understand why people aren’t giving me balloons and tiaras, taking me to lunch and dinner and telling me how great how I am like they did yesterday.
In all seriousness, my heart is about to burst from all of the love that I felt yesterday from friends and family. THANK YOU! I think each birthday keeps getting better and better even though I get more nervous to turn another year older. More on that tomorrow for my birthday recap.
As promised, I wanted to share my strawberry milkshake protein shake. It’s delicious. And not in a “this is delicious for how healthy it is” kind of delicious. It’s legitimately delicious and I wouldn’t lie to you.
You can really modify it to how you want it as well. Sometimes I add blueberries, and sometimes I’ll add flax seed.
If you don’t have a Blendtec, I would highly recommend getting one. My first thought was, “that’s an expensive blender!” When we lived with my in-laws while our house was being built, they had one, and I fell in love. We recently bought one at Costco and haven’t regretted it for one second. We literally use it multiple times a day. I even use it to shred chicken for tacos!
If you have a membership, you can order it here. This is the best price I have found, and Costco really takes care of their customers.
Strawberry Protein Shake
1 scoop Cellucor Strawberry Milkshake Whey Protein
1 cup almond milk, I like Silk
5 frozen strawberries
3 ice cubes
Blend and enjoy!
This makes about 20 ounces blended. My favorite way to drink it is in my Aladdin To Go Tumbler. This one is on sale right now at Target. They also have really cute colors like this one.It keeps my smoothies cold for a long time which is great for a larger smoothie like this one. I like to bring mine to work and for some reason I feel fancy drinking out of it, especially when the smoothie I make is pink. My life is glam like that.
