When my gorgeous sister-in-law Rachel called me from Italy last year on her business trip and showed me the positive pregnancy test through Facetime, I had to step into an office at work since I couldn’t keep my voice down because I was so excited! We were due within a week of each other! Tyler and I had just found out that we were pregnant with our babies a week prior. What could be better than 3 new babies in the family?! It has been so much fun being pregnant with her. She has given me the greatest tips on pregnancy and the hospital stay that have saved me. I had my babies 8 weeks early due to preeclampsia, but I am still going to refer to our 3 babies as “the triplets” when Rachel’s baby boy is born. Our husbands are going to love having boys so close in age too and I’m sure they will take them dirt biking while we take our girls to get manicures when they’re older 🙂
My in-laws threw us a combined baby shower and it turned out absolutely stunning. I was completely blown away! Rachel designed it (we need to clone her so she can have enough time to be a party planner too!) and everyone helped to execute an unbelievably gorgeous evening. The food, the company, the setting…I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening to celebrate the blessing that these 3 new babies are going to be in our lives.
