If you’re feeling forgotten, lonely, heart broken, overwhelmed, or any of the other emotions that leave you asking, “but where are you, God?” keep reading.

Life has been “interesting” recently (don’t you hate when people are vague? 😂) and there have been some hard emotions to deal with. My friend gave a lesson today at church where she shared a story about a woman who wondered where God was in her life when she felt lonely and was having a hard time dealing with life’s circumstances. The impression or response that she got really hit me.

“Where are you looking for me?”

Maybe we aren’t seeing Him because we aren’t noticing the small miracles. He’s in the warm home that shelters you. He’s in the good book you just read. He’s in the people who show up for you in small and simple ways.

Maybe we just aren’t looking for Him where He is. 💙

I remember thinking that surely this cycle of IVF

I remember thinking that surely this cycle of IVF would be easier. We had frozen embryos.

It wasn’t. It was the hardest one out of my 4 total embryo transfers.

I remember thinking that surely this pregnancy would be easier than the twin’s pregnancy.

It hasn’t been. I’m sure it will be towards the end (the whole one baby instead of two thing really makes a difference 😂) but it’s been full of discomfort and illness.

And yet life is designed like that. The joy is deep and full and big because when it comes, we REALLY know it’s there because we know exactly what’s it’s like when it’s not.

It’s complicated and it’s simple all at once.

And I’m glad I’m here for it ☀️ #ivfsuccess #infertility #31weekspregnant
