At home spa day ideas to give you that luxury in an affordable way and in the comfort of your own home!
You Deserve a Moment
I love to treat myself to things that actually treat me and make me feel relaxed, and I believe in doing it often! Life is really hard in a lot of ways, and I believe that it’s up to us to seek the joy and create luxury moments for ourselves every single day. One of the ways I do this is with at home spa moments! Especially in the winter since when it’s so cold outside. I take a bath most nights and it is something I look forward to every single night. It is a sustainable and affordable luxury and I want the same for you too! So I am sharing my at home spa day idea with you so you can create this in your life! Here’s what you’ll need:
at home spa DAY
- To start your at home spa day, order some Epsom salts. Have them on hand in a glass jar (like this one) near your tub with a little scooper so you can easily put some under hot running water. This is my favorite brand of Epsom salts and you can find a cute scooper here that works perfectly! I add in about 2 cups of epsom salts for each bath. If you make it simple for yourself, you make it sustainable. Another idea is to wrap it up with a cute ribbon and it would be a PERFECT gift for anyone too!
- These flameless candles are a dream for my baths and genuinely give the same cozy warm feeling as a real candle. The advantage of these candles are that they aren’t a fire hazard, you don’t have to trim the wicks, and you don’t need a lighter nearby. My whole family loves these cozy candles– so much so that we have this candlestick version on our mantle on the main level of our house.
- After having a super relaxing bath, I like to get ready for bed with a great pair of pajamas and cozy slippers. I am in love with fuzzy slippers with my PJ’s every night. They add such a touch of luxury. I especially enjoy neutral colors because I like everything to match!
You deserve time for yourself! Give it a try and see how you feel! Happy at home spa day!
