After receiving a lot of requests for months (okay, fine…years!) I finally put together this easy makeup tutorial. This is the makeup that I wear every day and I love it! It might take you a little longer in the beginning if this is different than your normal makeup routine, but it only takes me 10 minutes and it’s nice that it’s so quick! I have a lot more energy and feel more pulled together when I have my makeup done.
I have a 10% discount code off any Shine Cosmetic products, including the ones listed in the post! It’s the brand I use the most as you’ll see. Be sure to use code JENICA to snag your deal by clicking HERE!
I start off my routine with silky Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eye Shadow Primer. This is the ONLY way I will wear eye shadow! If I don’t, it gets all creasy and doesn’t stay. I LOVE IT! It’s also a lot less expensive but works just as well as the other primer I used to use. I also prep my face with this sunscreen that is a great primer! It’s the BEST.
For eye shadow, I use the dark shade colors of this Shine Cosmetics Eye Shadow Palette ‘Be Humble’. I use the middle bottom shimmery brown on my crease, the dark brown in the corner, the top right gold on the main part of my eyelid and the top left on the brow arch.
Here is another view of the Shine Cosmetics Eye Shadow Palette ‘Be Humble’ palette I use.
Next up is my creamy Shine Cosmetics Concealer – I use the color ‘Vibrant’. You can DM or chat with Shine Cosmetics and they can color match you!
This BB Cream has great coverage and I use Shine Cosmetics BB Cream – I use the color’Empowered’. They also have an amazing BB Cream Subscription so you don’t ever run out! You can DM or chat with Shine Cosmetics and they can color match you.
I have used this eyebrow kit for several years and they don’t sell it any more! This has really great reviews and this company has a great reputation.
Next up in my makeup tutorial is a product I love but I forgot to take a pic! This is the eyebrow gel I use and I LOVE it and it’s so affordable! Put it on your brows after you fill them in.
To elevate my look, I grab this brown brozer and use Shine Cosmetics Bronzer – the color is ‘Fierce’. I put it on the lower part of my cheek bones, on the sides of my nose, and on either side of my upper forehead by my hair line. I also put it in my part so my scalp matches my face!
Next I will add a touch of color to my skin using Shine Cosmetics Blush – the color I love is ‘Nurture’.
I love using this shiny MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Highlighting Powder – I use the color ‘Soft & Gentle’. I put on my upper cheek bones and bridge of my nose. It’s so pretty!
Now to set my whole look with this amazing bottle of All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray. New up in my makeup tutorial is I spray it before I finish my mascara and do my eyeliner!
I use a cotton swab to wipe of my lips of any BB Cream that may have gotten on my lips while applying my face makeup.
For my lips, I have used a nude color of the Shine Cosmetics Lip Liner – I use the color Majesty but it’s not currently listed as an option on the website so can sub with the color Intuitive. I also really like this lip liner brand!
Next up in the makeup tutorial is this lipstick that adds just a hint of pink with Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick – ‘Kim K.W.’ It’s my favorite lipstick I’ve ever tried!
Buxom Lip Gloss – it’s my favorite lip gloss ever! My favorite color is Pink Champagne. It’s so pretty by itself but I also always put it over my lipstick. It helps your lips stay super moisturized!
To accentuate my lashes, I grab my Tweezerman Class Lash Curler. It’s the best! I have to use this to open up my eyes, otherwise my lashes are straight and you can’t really see them.
My go-to black eyeliner is Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner – ‘Intense Black’ is the color. You can also find it at Nordstrom here!
Another incredible option is the Shine Cosmetics eyeliner which is JUST AS GOOD as less expensive!
You have to starting using this amazing tube of Shine Cosmetics Mascara. I’m not kidding when I say it’s the best mascara I ever tried! And I’ve tried everything from Chanel to drug store brands. Everything else flakes, smudges or doesn’t stay all day in some way. This is my FAVORITE and it lasts a long time!
This highlighter will last you two decades, I swear, and it’s so pretty! I put it on arch under brows and on the inside of my eyes by my lashes (like where the tears would come out lol) and it opens your pretty eyes even more!
