“Hey Jenica!” Volume 1

I’m going to start doing a compilation of frequently asked questions every so often because I think it will be an easy place for you to come with those burning questions you have on your mind! You know, those burning questions like, “what’s your nail polish color?” I got you, girl.

So, here it is! “Hey Jenica!” Volume 1:

“What nail polish color are you wearing?”

The nail polish color that you have seen my wear the most over the past year and a half is OPI Let’s Be Friends. It’s the perfect white/pink neutral that goes with everything. In fact, I think I have only gone with one other color in the past year, and I regretted every day of that polish being on my nails. If you’re expecting someone that’s not dramatic, you’ve come to wrong place. Ha! I know what I like, and I like OPI Let’s Be Friends. The problem with this color is that the salon that used to do my nails before I started doing my own gel nails at home (see my tutorial HERE) told me that OPI is discontinuing this color, so I can only find it online on sale for like $50. You know, end of the world type prices. The good news is that it appears that Essie Fiji is the same color. WHEW!! I often use regular polish on my toes since they last so long anyway, but I’ll let you know if I find something identical in a gel polish.

“What hair tie are you using in your hair all the time?”

That would be the Invisibobble, my friends, and I LOVE them. They hold really well, don’t crease your hair even nearly as much as any other hair tie I have used, and come in a lot of fun colors. “What eyeshadow are you wearing?”

I am OBSESSED with this palette. It’s the prettiest palette I own and honestly, that I have ever seen. It has some shimmery colors and lots of great neutrals. I LOVE it. If you don’t have an eyeshadow primer that helps your shadow stay all day without any creasing, this is an absolute must have. I didn’t even wear eyeshadow much until I got this. It is kind of like magic, and this is the kind of magic that I can get behind because I don’t care how it works, I just know that it works. And while we’re on the subject of eyes, this eyeliner is hands down my favorite eyeliner of all time. Eyes eyes eyes. Okay, I’m done.
